1 DAY 3/4 PROGRAM

Monday 9:15am - 11:15am OR Friday 9:15am- 11:15am ( Starting Sept. 2018)

The focus of our three-year-old program is on developing and enhancing socialization skills such as listening, decision-making, problem solving, healthy communication, taking turns, empathy, sharing, respect, and self-control, as well as fostering curiosity, independence, self-esteem, imagination, hand-eye coordination, language and cognitive skills. The school year is organized into monthly themes, which are accompanied by a wide range of play stations and activities that are designed to integrate the skills and concepts being taught. Themes can include: the five senses, colors, shapes, transportation, and the four seasons. Children who are 3 years old by December 31, 2018 and are toilet trained are eligible to attend pre-school.
Cost: $100/month + $50 registration fee

MINI PRE (AGE 2 1/2 - 3)

Monday 9:15am - 11:15am

At this age, children make new discoveries daily. And as they begin to express their independence, our preschool program introduces them to a world of learning, sharing, and exploring. Our approach in the classroom engages young minds with the early learning fundamentals they'll need as they continue on to 3 year old preschool, with a rich blend of music, art, and dramatic play. The school year is organized into monthly themes, which are accompanied by a wide range of play stations and activities that are designed to integrate the skills and concepts being taught. Children who are 2 1/2 (30 months) by September 1, 2018 and toilet trained are eligible to attend Mini Pre.
Cost: $100/month + $50 registration fee

3/4 YEAR OLD PROGRAM

Tuesday & Thursday 9:15am - 11:15am

4/5 YEAR OLD PROGRAM

Monday, Tuesday & Thursday 1:00pm - 3:00pm

Our four-year-old program reinforces and expands on the behaviours and skills learned in the three-year-old program. The focus of our four-year-old program is on continuing to stimulate social growth while preparing students academically for kindergarten. Students learn to say and recognize the capital and lowercase letters of the alphabet identify colours, shapes, numbers, and quantities, complete geometric patterns, compare objects based on size, shape, length, and count from 1 to 20, print their name and the numbers 1 to 10. The school year is organized into monthly themes, which are accompanied by a wide range of play stations and activities that are designed to integrate the skills and concepts being taught. Themes can include: outer space, ocean life, insects, movement and animals throughout time. Children who are 4 years old by December 31, 2018 and are toilet trained are eligible to attend pre-school
Cost: $150/month + $50 registration fee
Spots Available: 32 Students- 2 classes

School of Music (Music is incorporated into all our programs) The Rosewood Park School of Music is partnering with The Learning Tree Preschool to include A Music Education programming for your child. Your child will explore the world around them through music, movement and play in enriching 30-minute music lessons. Music activities include: Singing, vocal games, rhythmic speech, movement and playing rhythm instruments.
